THE BIKE WISE CHALLENGE...

The Bike Wise Challenge is a fun and free competition held every February between organisations to see who can get the most staff to ride a bike for at least 10 minutes or 2 km.  Only seven Gisborne organisation’s registered on the Bike Wise site for the Bike Wise Challenge 2011 – these organisations logged an impressive 632 rides (covering 7354kms). Let’s make 2012 bigger and better!  WHAT DO I DO? Register a team at www.bikewise.co.nz ... Get your team mates to cycle as much as possible in February… log your rides ...and maybe you'll win PRIZES!!!.. Bikewise and Sport Gisborne Tairawhiti have spot prizes to give to participants.

The Gisborne BMX Club day is Monday nights, sign in at 5.30pm at the Lytton Road BMX Track (racing at 6pm). Sausage sizzle and other items for sale at the track shop.
