Overview from President Dorothy Sparrow

The Poverty Bay Federation of W.I. is made up of women of varied interests and talents.

We encourage the growth of skills among our own members be it handcraft, literary, acting, photography, cooking, whatever their interests.

We are actively involved in supporting other organisations locally such as the Cancer Society, Palliative Care, Alzheimer's Assn., Sherwood club and our Health Camp.

We have fun and achieve lots, supporting our national fundraising efforts with yearly donations to Medical Research and educational opportunities for young people.

Internationally we support the Matunda Orphanage Peace Project through Sherryl Gomm who visits the Orphanage in Tanzania and delivers our donations to the children there.

We welcome new members and support them.
