GWALOOP competitors are refreshed with Battlehill Oranges donated to the event each year! Candice has already committed to defending her title in the 2010 GWALOOP event!

Candice was back in town for the Eastland Port Harbour Swim as pasrt of her ongoing training schedule... the above photo was taken at Battlehill Orchard as Candice checked out the beautiful, refreshing oranges.

4th generation McIntyre family member now running the farm... brief overview as follows:

* First plantings of citrus commenced 1972

* First plantings Kiwifruit in 1979

* Been packing our own produce since 1984

We pack under the well know brand at the NZ markets - Battle Hill Orchard

 We are packing produce most of the year round. These include Navel and Valencia oranges, lemons, mandarins and kiwifruit and are diversifying into pip and stone fruit at present.

We will sell to the general public but in a minimum order of 20kg
