We are marquee wedding specialists with years of experience creating memorable weddings. We have a wide range of marquees to suit all tastes and each of our marquees can be fitted out with silk ceiling liners, fitted flooring, cathedral style windows or elegant white French doors. 
We can also supply a variety of equipment and specialty wedding items from portable toliets and wheelie bins right through to lighting, chair covers and an extensive range of synthetic plants and table arrangements. For your catering needs we also have a large selection of crockery, glassware and cutlery and can take care of your caterers with their own separate tent area and chiller trailer.

About Us

Fran Gibson welcomes you to Martins Event & Party Hire...The Martins brand started in 1970 with the founder John Martin. Initially solely, machinery hire then branching into Party Hire. Martins has remained locally owned and operated for over 40 years.

In 2006 Fran separated Party Hire from Machinery Hire, renaming to Martins Event & Party Hire. We do still work with and support Rob and the team at Martins Hiremaster - Machinery Hire.
In Nov 2007 Fran moved the business to the new Premises 105 Disraeli Street, a building purposely built for the Event & Party Hire Industry.
