These Turkeys were photographed on Barbara & Larry's life style block in Tauranga. NZ.

Wild Turkeys can fly, but the much heavier domesticated turkeys cannot easily do so.

Wild turkeys often sleep up in tree branches

Turkeys are native to North America, in fact Benjamin Franklin wanted to make the wild turkey the national bird of the USA, but the Bald Eagle was the preferred choice that was chosen.
