These photos are a sample of the Wedding dresses, bridesmaid and ball gowns that we have made!

One of our latest Wedding creations - for Bride and Bridesmaids - photographed at Eastwoodhill Arborteum

Another recent Wedding creation - this time photographed in a unique setting with the BIG Trucks

Jo came to see me with a simple little stretch lace dress to copy. We shopped together and found the satin and lace combination Jo was looking for. Her wedding was on the Gold Coast in Australia, very intimate for this couple. I beaded the rouching from the left side and across to the top line.

Amanda new exactly what she wanted. Amanda found her fabric for her bridesmaids dresses and we beaded the lace and made her dream come true. Her wedding was held out at the Coliseum so the Grecian look was all tied in.

Melissa was married in Central Otago... I supplied fabric and designs for both gowns, which we created here in our Gisborne Studio...

Leanne brought me her picture. It was a work of art as the details were all different.

Ben and Megan wanted a no hassle wedding. My contribution was to take Megan's picture and  turn it into her wedding present. With pride I made my daughter in law's wedding gown.

Hannah in her ballgown. Another picture brought to life.

Amanda, daughter of Brent and Teresa Trethewey, and Andrew, son of Greg and Beth Macdonald were married at Matawhero Historic Church on March 26, 2011.

A special highlight of the day for Amanda was that her father walked her down the aisle then turned around and married the couple. Thereception was held at the Bushmere Arms. Amanda and Andrew were attended by bestman Ryan Trethewey (brother of Amanda), matron of honour Tracy Clayton, and groomsman Jotham Macdonald (brother of Andrew). The dresses were made by Brides of Gisborne and flowers by Country Garden Flowers.
The couple will continue to live in Gisborne where they have just bought their first home. Andrew works as an engineer and Amanda a receptionist at an accounting firm. /Photography by Diana Dobson/The Black Balloon/

Lots of fun and laughter with all their guests was the order of the day when Tracy Barron married Kris Clayton.

Tracy, daughter of Hugh and Carol Barron, and Kris, son of Keith and Carol Clayton were married at House of Breakthrough on 19 February followed by afternoon tea. They loved being able to share the day with everyone possible and having lots of fun and laughter through their ceremony. They were attended by Mark Baylis, Amanda Trethewey, Karl Lowe, Stacey Mence, Jason Clayton and Maata Rogers. The dresses were made by Brides of Gisborne. The couple will continue to live in Gisborne where Kris works as an IT technician and Tracy an accountant. ...Photographs by Diana Dobson/The Black Balloon
